Job Brief:

Raptr Games is looking for a Content Writer to join our editorial team for our online gaming and entertainment website to work on creating articles, blogs, event coverage and marketing PR.

The responsibilities include conducting research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new contentand writing and proofreading articles before publication. This role will deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
• Prepare well-structured drafts using our Content Management System
• Proofread and edit blogs, social media posts and articles before publication
• Coordinate with product and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Promote content on social media by working with the social media manager
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Work with our International partners to ensure brand guidelines are met

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Familiarity with web publications
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems is preferred
